Ahoy! Update 3.0 is here! Here is a full description of everything new:
New Event Mode: Respawn
Take revenge in the new Respawn event mode! - Battle time is 7 minutes. - At the beginning of the game, each team has 500 points out of a maximum of 1000. From here they need to steal points from the other team. - The first team to reach 1000 points through capturing the domination points and/or killing enemies, wins. If neither team reaches 1000 points, the team with the highest score at the end of the time limit wins. - It is possible to join the battle either as an individual or to team up with your friends. - After you die, there is a countdown of 10 seconds before every respawn, and a 5 second protected period during which you can’t be harmed. - Once a ship is respawned, it returns with fully reloaded consumables (if you have enough in stock).
Brand new Ping system
Communicate with your fellow teammates more efficiently with an updated ping system. - Click the chat button in battle to bring up the ping panel. There are 4 new buttons to choose from. - With the ping panel open, aim the reticle to a specific warship/point at sea and click the ping button. - Marked warships will carry the ping icon for a while, and the effect will also appear on the minimap. - Once the warship is out of detection range or has been destroyed, the mark disappears. - If the player dies, the icon they marked disappears immediately. - There is no ping option in spectator mode.
Ship XP as a reward in Battle Honors has now been added to help you grind your ship lines faster. - The Ship XP reward exclusively applies to the respective ship. For example: If you claim a reward from ship A’s Battle Honors, this XP will be directly added to ship A. - Added a wiki to explain how Battle Honors works, players can access it through the exclamation point icon on the Battle Honors page or from the Battle wiki directly.
